The Session 8 Band is a group of accomplished session players featuring an all star lineup from the jazz world, with luminaries such as Craig Milverton, Ben Cummings and Ian Bateman, who also appear with Jamie Cullum, Stacey Kent and Acker Bilk, to name but a few.

Vocalists Maggie Reeday and Tim Murray are outstanding and experienced performers and have long and varied careers. Both have a succession of TV and radio appearances.

Maggie has performed alongside household names such as Paul Daniels, Jim Davidson and Atomic Kitten and has performed at a Royal Variety show for the Queen Mother at the London Palladium.

Tim is from a fine singing stock, with father Bernie Burgess the founder member of “The Four Jones Boys” and his mother was none other than fifties singing sensation the late “Ruby Murray”.

Tim and Maggie’s knockout voices and a natural ability to connect with their audiences, combined with the band’s superb musicianship, ensure a warm reception wherever The Session 8 Band plays.
